Brother Christian came up with the HOOLEY concept about 10 years ago. Being an avid waterman and kiteboarder, he took the name from the old school captains phrase "It's Blowing a Hooley" which, when directly translated, means that it's bloody windy. 

HOOLEY is now a South African family owned extreme watersports accessories brand with it's main focus being surfing but living in Cape Town with it's ridiculously erratic weather, we realise that you have to be into everything and anything that will get you in the water, whatever the weather is like. 

From the early days brosef Christian coined the phrase "LiveWrong(Live..while riding on natures gifts)"and this has become a part of our everyday lives.
